Boston Protein Solutions has discovered a new class of small molecule compounds that is effective in inhibiting proteins from forming aggregates.  This class of compounds is generally regarded as safe.  As a model, thermoaggregation of bovine serum albumin (BSA) is fully prohibited at elevated temperature (65 degree Celsius).  The well-known insulin fibrillation is also successfully prohibited.

Boston Protein Solutions is actively expanding the list of this class of compounds and apply them to potential therapeutic proteins.
